    HX FX Power

Here is a cheap alternative that I'm using with the correct doubler cable to power my stomp : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/VITOOS-ISO8-Compact-Size-Guitar-Effects-Power-Supply-Power-Pack-Station-8-Isolated-DC-Outputs-for/32944104933.html
  2. Exactly the same here. Needed to reboot. I happened to me twice, once when I was moving an IR block in the path, the other time when I was editing a stereo width block : I changed R polarity and no more output. I hope it's caused by the USB link and that it won't crash when giging outside... I'm on Windows 10.
  3. FWIW I used this cheap power supply (AKA Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-2 Pro) : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/VITOOS-ISO8-Compact-Size-Guitar-Effects-Power-Supply-Power-Pack-Station-8-Isolated-DC-Outputs-for/32944104933.html with this adapter : https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-1mm-DC-Socket-to-DC-Plug-Adpapter-End-for-CCTV-Cable/200559204465?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 and a current doubler cable I already had, plugged into both DC 500 outputs. It works very well.
  4. Yes I didn't realize the IR block I had at the end of the chain was a mono effect, so hindered all my attempts. Thank you.
  5. Hi ! I would like to run the HX as a sort of source selector. I have two different sources in Input L and R, coming from two different amps. Depending on my need, I would like to hear only input L in both channels, or input R in both channels. I've played with Split options and PAN blocks, but couldn't make it work or find a way around. I haven't even found a way to mute either the L or R channel. No way to get rid of it ! Any idea ?
  6. Excellent ! Thank you!
  7. That's right , i should have mentionned I'm in full power. OK thanks for the clarification. Regarding the cab simulation, if technically i understand it's similar to the Pod , it doesn't say which cab+mic settings is in use. Any idea ?
  8. hi, Can someone please explain how the cab simulated output is designed ? I mean, where in the chain is it placed , does the output, and tone, depend of the master volume ? what kind of cab simulation is it ? Thanks !
  9. Send and return are left to defaults: 0 db With these settings the volume is kept at the same level whether the effects loop is on or off.
  10. Hi, I've got noticeable white noise in the effects loop, even if i simply plug one (good quality) patch cable from send to return. Any tip on how to reduce it ?
  11. Regarding the hum, have you tried to plug your amp in different places ? It could just be a bad local electrical network. The DT25 is very loud, I can't compare it to a solid state equivalent, but should you need more power, buy a second DT25 ! You'd get more power + real dual amp tones. Now the effects are pretty good, but regarding distortions & fuzz, honestly you can achieve way better tones with pedals.
  12. I had the same problem and fixed it with this voltage regulator: http://www.infosec-ups.com/fr/regulateurs/r1-1200.html (seems to be distributed in France only)
  13. I see cabs as EQ presets. Some will make you tone shine, some will kill it. Just try and listen
  14. Your problem is very specific and I don't know the reason, but here are some thoughts: - i'm always using the DT25 reverb , not the pod reverb, you could try and see - rather than tweaking GuitarZ , there is a pad switch on the pod, designed to tame high output / active pickups , try it - in the end try to lower the preamp volume , or use the mixer to go down a few db, though this might modify your tone a bit Also after trying a few attenuators, never been convinced, I have bought a reignmaker eminence speaker that has technology to reduce spl by up to -8 dB , and it works great, no tone loss at all. Only drawback is it didn't fit in my DT25 combo, I had to switch to head + cab stack http://www.eminence.com/speakers/speaker-detail/?model=Reignmaker
  15. I am interested in this setup too. My understanding so far, to have effects applied to only one amp: 1- use the pod HD effects loop, put your distortion effects inside it and place it after the split , of course since there is only one effect loop , you must chose which amp will use it 2- use the effects loops of each DT25 , since they are placed after the preamp, it's should be fine for eq/modulation/delay/reverb. Just, you can not turn the effect loop on/off from the pod.
